Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to RestartU. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and educational services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, enrolling in courses, or using any part of our Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

User Accounts
2.1 Account Creation
To access most features of our Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
2.2 Account Restrictions
You may not:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Create multiple accounts for the same person
- Use another person's account without permission
- Sell, transfer, or sublicense your account

Course Enrollment & Access
3.1 Free Trial
We offer a limited free trial for courses, allowing you to preview course content before purchasing. The free trial provides access to a limited number of videos per course. Once the free trial limit is reached, you must purchase the course to continue.
3.2 Course Access
Upon purchasing a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access the course content for your own educational purposes. Course access includes:
- Lifetime access to purchased course materials (subject to availability)
- Access to course updates and improvements
- Eligibility for course completion certificates
3.3 Sequential Learning
Some courses may require sequential completion of topics. You must complete topics in order to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Payments & Refunds
4.1 Pricing
Course prices are displayed in the applicable currency and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect courses you have already purchased.
4.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers (PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave, or other available methods). By making a payment, you agree to the payment provider's terms of service.
4.3 Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our educational content:
- Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 20% of the course content
- Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- Refunds are not available for completed courses or certificate fees

Content & Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
All content on the Platform, including courses, videos, materials, graphics, logos, and text, is owned by RestartU or our content providers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute course content
- Record, download, or capture videos or materials (except where explicitly permitted)
- Share access to courses with others
- Use content for commercial purposes
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Create derivative works based on our content
5.3 Digital Rights Management
We employ technical measures to protect our content. Attempting to circumvent these protections is prohibited and may result in account termination.

User Conduct
You agree to use our Platform responsibly and not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Submit false or misleading information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Interfere with the Platform's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use automated systems or bots
- Engage in academic dishonesty (cheating on exams, plagiarism)

Certificates
Upon completing a course and paying the certification fee (if applicable), you may receive a certificate of completion. Please note:
- Certificates verify course completion, not professional accreditation
- Certificates are for personal and professional use
- Falsifying completion records to obtain certificates is prohibited
- We reserve the right to revoke certificates obtained through fraud

Termination
8.1 By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Note that closing your account will result in loss of access to purchased courses.
8.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. In case of termination for violation, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties regarding accuracy or completeness of content
- Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
Educational content is for informational purposes. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from completing our courses.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESTARTU AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RestartU operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting notice on our Platform or sending you an email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
